Behold, I am transmitting RAGE against 'Playerworld Helpers'.
 

So I was looking on my playerlist window and I seen *Malinko (Playerworld Helper). And I just go "What the -hell-."

Why do we need these? Why? WHY? We already have (#gscript), and we help people all the time. We don't need any offical tag. I barely even wear it! Being a cool furher of a server that I am - people come to me all the time with playerworld problems. Some more embarrassing then others, such as how to make a gmap.

So let me ask you - why the hell do we need some new psudo global staff crap?

The current global staff system is an absolute joke. I mean UN uploads a damned TIME GATE from Chrono Trigger and nobody gets slapped around. Seriously! What the hell is that? If I were a global I'd totally ban whoever the hell knowingly endangered my game with copyrighted crap. Because I am a bad enough dude to rescue the president.

But what is this crap? Playerworld Helper? So I login to #gscript and ask what in gods name it is, and it's for 'helping playerworlds develop contents'.

Isn't this what the GLOBAL STAFF IS FOR? Isn't this what THEY ALREADY DO?
Why do we need ANOTHER postion of the SAME USELESSNESS. Sheesh.

If someone has problems they can come to the CLASSIC PLAYERWORLD MANAGERS WHO ARE USUALLY WILLING TO HELP. We are like the.. planeteers, with Stefan as Captain Planet. Or so I think? Because USUALLY if someone ASKS me I will HELP them.

So what the crap is this? I don't need 'playerworld helpers'. I seriously don't.
They're on a much crappier level then my 'decent' quality level is on, so no. JUST NO. I do NOT want another global staff postion that gives people the excuse to randomly float around global RC, unless it consists of me heading the useless group so idiots don't get in it (like lycia).

WHAT DO YOU OTHER FELLOW CUSTOMERS THINK OF THIS NEW, ABSOLUTELY USELESS POSTION (!BECAUSE PLAYERS CAN COME HERE, OR JUST ASK THEIR FRIENDLY CLASSIC MANAGERS, GLOBAL STAFF, OR #GSCRIPT MEMBERS STUFF!)

The global staff system right now is an -absolute- joke. YEah hooray, lets only have one two postions that actually have some sort of purpose (GST and PWA) and only one person in the PWA with an IQ above 50.

We just really, really, -really- do not need to make a joke funnier then it currently is. Because right now it's so funny that I'm crying :frown:.

*Looks at poll*, eh could be funnier....a lot. Sometimes people need some help, but having a tag? Hmmm. Kinda odd, but it doesn't hurt anyone, and it may help some people, so who cares? It doesn't matter to me, if I need any help, I come here. Really, doesn't matter to me, and I'm not sure anyone would have noticed unless you said something ;)

We have a global scripting and graphics teams which is supposed to do exactly what this Playerworld Helpers seem to want to do, and even there only the scripting team seems to be active, and, useful.
But obviously most of the global staff guilds are just for people to feel important; this kind of people is usually the worst, they don't do what they should be doing because they love to do it, they do (or not.. mostly) it because of the fame and power they get. Either get truly dedicated people (very rare), or paid people.

Dude just leave it alone.. Why the hell do you make it bother you so much..?

I wouldn't mind having that tag added to my collection :)... see cause I am a power hungry person that goes insane once he gets a position of power :O

He lost a love of his life (apparently), and now his spot as a staff is being made fun of / questioned. He's got alittle reason to ***** and moan, but not much room to.

Ugh...the current global staff positions don't specifically "develop." This actually doesn't sound too bad. It's not like they have the rights to harm your server in any way =/

It's not a staff position.
I don't have any problem with the tag, or its purpose, but it shouldn't be listed under special guilds, at least to avoid confusion.

Malinko's girlfriend or ex-girlfriend or whatever is a Playerworld Helper.

That is all I have to say.

In Stefan's own words, the Playerworld Helper group is "not an official tag, more for people who want to make content available for all playerworlds and help playerworlds for making them better."
