Well Im incredibly bored...Ive been working with delterias now tileset and then npulses tileset and I havnt worked with the damn classic tileset in ages. and I havnt made a actual level in like 3 weeks.

So I decided to start placeing random levels anyways. And here is what I came up with. Nothing special...just random.

Ya know what sucks to? All I have is levels I made for delteria and this 1 level. Because I couldnt transfer my old hardrive over to my new comp =(.

I like it

Errors in the clifss which I don't like, but otherwise it's not too bad. The water above the cliffs is a little odd though.

I'll point out those errors later for you if I can be bothered. All in all not bad though :)

When im bored I seriously do not make levels lol. I make levels when i am serious forced and threatened to be fired >_<

detail is bad, and some minor errors in the cliffs. 6/10

farte6 10-04-2005 08:36 PM

I didnt wanna do a lot of detail cause I like classic levels that look plainer. I know that cliff errors there are but tell me what they are to double check. To much working with Delt cliffs.

Hitmanjack 10-05-2005 01:14 AM

Detail is good on outsides =P but dont detail them like i detail my outsides. Well cause then they look ****ty.

Drastic Vendetta 10-05-2005 02:15 AM

The detailing isn't all that bad. Good job on the cliffs and water tiles. I like it.

The areas I've circled in red are incorrect - those tiles are actually used to connect multiple levelled cliffs (if you notice they do not match the dirt colouring on the bottom). The areas circled in green are an added line of cliffing that is also what I call incorrect - the way the cliff forms looks wrong as I see it.

Hope that helps - and I do like your way of detailing. Simple and not overdone. Much how I think it should be done.

er, they are the right tiles.

if you're talking about how they are kind of darker, that's where the shadows would take into place...

No they're not. The correct use of the tiles, with an example of the correct dirt cliff bottom tiles:

Kittah they are the right tiles.. he can use them atleast >.>

The tiles where originaly designed to be used to stack mountains but it also works out fine for other usages such as buttom tiles....

You migt concider it a tile error but its not :P!!!!

There is a tile error in the bottom right on the inside, though, you can see a little chunk missing ;)

Arn't the ones circled in Green on the right side correct?

Nice level Inferno
