Food Meter
 

What exactly was done to the food meter?
People tell me it was nerfed, but how so?

The reason I'm asking is because last night I decided to get off my lazy butt and do a level4 map. I go in with 999 food, and being of Bile, I don't really watch my meter.

I got hit with a few spells, so I glanced at my health just to check, and saw my food was at 103? Odd, but whatever. Few pieces of bread and I'm at 603 food.

I carry on, and get hit by another spell, look up....what the hell I'm at 103 food again?

So do spells drop a person's food? And 500 food lost from one spell...that's a bit much?
