Cave Level: Opinions?
1 Attachment(s)
I'm sure this style is used quite a bit, but I am beginning to like it a lot. Some people think its just a bunch of tile errors, but I think its better then regular caves.
[EDIT]Ducati, could you give a suggestion for the door?[/EDIT] [EDIT]I may go with that suggestion, I'll post it later on. Thanks.[/EDIT] |
Go Angelus!!
Great level, I really like it. The lighting is perfect  I really like it, 8/10 :) |
I really like it. The south door doesn't look right. But other wise very well done. :)

The level looks really good this seems to be a nice perspective that people are starting to use again 7/10 :). Ya on the south door i just dont think those tiles fit well. Possibly not showing a door there because i think it messes up the perspective that you are trying to use. Maybe just a light effect or little path showing where the exit is? Good level though.

I would do 1 of 2 things:
1. Try making a south cave door. Like the one that is north side. As it's pretty easy to add your own tiles these days. Or not have a door at all, and make the south wall not there like the others are on that level.. and add a lighting effect to show that there is night comming from another room. |

Anyhow the level is nice, nice approach. Good touch with the water. What you might try to do for the door is just using a light effect something like doorlight.png (don't know the exact name) but try to cut it off a little. People automaticly swarm into weird light effects like muscitos to a electric lamp. 8/10 :) |
It's nice, but you messed up the depth of the second level :)
I like this style of work a lot, it's nice. |
That style Ive seen done nicely and poorly. That is a pritty nice one i guess. I guess we can call this like a Angelus style or something lol?
