I like to hold little RP's on them, it's fun to do that, but just for 1 person to get from place to place, it's pretty pointless, unless you feel like waiting longer and not holding down a key.

no, that wiould be cool, then stefan could add a quest for money on an island in the ocean, that would be cool, or maybe a quet for an NPC

That's true. If someone dced over deep water no one else would be able to get to it, except like police and people that could warp out to it.
