image rotation and stretching
1 Attachment(s)
I've stumbled - okay, crashed into - a very annoying realization.
In gs2, if you rotate an image and then scale it, the resulting image is still a squished square with a rotated texture, not a rotated, scaled image. ex: draw light2.png, scale it to (1/2, 2) so its a nice long oval, then rotate it 45 degrees. the resulting image is an oval that is quite apparently -not- rotated. the texture inside is, yes, but the overall oval is not. still a long thin oval pointing up. see attached image. I used a square 16x16 image to show that the image does get rotated, but only as a texture placed on a scaled rectangle. The ability to scale and rotate are very helpful, but not in their current state. This should get fixed ;x |
