Ignore also blocks players chat from being seen?
 

We all know ignore currently stops the players from PMing in game, i was wondering if it could be added in v4. if the player puts a person on ignore they wont see their chat-text eaither... What usually happens if, people will herass someone over PMs, then they'll get put on ignore, then the harasser will go to the person and harass them via chat-text. I would definately use this feature.. Opinions?

I don't like it.

Eh, it's one thing to block people from private messaging you... but you should just be able to ignore people's chat in the game yourself. You don't need a game option to do that.

If it were implemented you'd need some sort of indicator that the person is on ignore... like the little ear that is shown when people hear your mic, except with an X over it or something, so it's like you're not "hearing" them in the game. I dunno. Otherwise someone might have you on ignore and you could talk to them for like 10 minutes and wonder why they aren't responding. That's a little annoying in itself.

By visual indication I mean the person who is ignoring you would have the crossed out ear near their character. So you know they can't hear what you're saying.
