I was going for a graffiti look and I used a font as reference.
Everything was made in MSPaint.
I plan on tweeking it to make it better than it is now.

Feed back is welcome.

Ignore her, she's dumb :)

Scott 09-16-2005 03:49 AM

It sure looks alot like it wasn't made in ms paint, probably because of the mass amount of AA and colors. ;)

calani 09-16-2005 08:59 AM

Fonts in MSPaint are straight single pixel black text - that''s not done in MSPaint.

And by the way, I don't care if you chizzeled it out of a rock, an image is a image...I wish people would stop effing justifying their ugly work by saying "Oh, yea, I made it in primitive MSPaint"....

That means everything. That font wasn't. He shouldn't lie about what he did. Friggin' dolt.

I did the same font and there was no gray outline like yours.

With Microsoft, size counts.

Wow, interesting. I've only really ever used MSPaint on 98 and Windows 2,000. On those, no matter what the size it doesn't show gray - it's pure black single pixels.

It may be your font.

I tried with numerous fonts - it just doesn't have that feature in 98/2000 paint.

I think that's truetype font in mine?

Scott 09-17-2005 09:01 PM

I'm in the same boat as Curt. I've never seen MS Paint do auto AA, and that's pretty lame way to take credit for it, considering I know some experts that would have difficulty doing that much AA.

I don't mean to boast, but I'm pretty confident I could AA a few characters quite accurately x_x

It gets repetative and takes up time.

Good_Ol_Daze 09-18-2005 12:35 AM

Even if that was done in MSPaint, it could've been done with no difficulty in Photoshop, so it's hardly a showcase of skill.

So I guess either you are either a terribly boring person, or you don't have photoshop?

Or maybe you knew it was a bad idea and thought that saying it was made in MSPaint would get a better response? hmmm? hmmmmmm?!
