Global Playerlist Requests

1 Attachment(s)
I have found it difficult time and time again to recieve and get someone to recieve a global message. The following are, as I see, the two main problems.

1. Nothing to show IF you get a PM.
2. Very hard to find who you want to PM.

Because of this, I feel the global playerlist will sadly be unused. I'll post an image of an idea I had to promote the use of this newly created tool.

What'ya think?

I like the 'find player' idea, but currently when you get a global PM, the 'servers' tab will turn into PM itself (like the normal tab is in your screenshot when you have a mass message). You can double click the tab to open a message too. If you single click the tab, it will go to the list of servers, and the person who PMed you will be in the correct server list with a blinking PM icon. If someone is your buddy, their PM will show up in the 'normal' tab too. Not sure if it does that if it's not a buddy.

Hmm. Never knew that.

What would be the point?

So you know where your friends are.

It already does do that, if you open the playlist for a diff server it will display their name on the normal buddy area.

Find player= good idea

Perhaps something that specified which client was on RC and which was on player.

I think a seperate list would be better. I don't like having people on the server list who isn't on that server.

It's true without the global buddy list it was too hard to find people. With the global buddy list you can now find your friends easily, not sure if there should be a find-player thing though
