On thiz day, July 31zt, the Zormite Izland waz liberated for the Emperor. The document shown iz a valid treaty of the Zormite Empire. It iz cozigned by the royal Bellazerians and the other nationz of the world.

The treaty tellz the world that the Zormitez are now the reziding government of the north wezt izland of the archipelago.

Actually, Bellasera's a good 6 months older than that. I drafted the first version of it shortly after I became Kingdoms Admin, you know, back when Jeff had just failed?

So what does this mean? Elaborate.

It means that the other nations of the world (excluding the barbaric states to the south who dont care anyway) reconize the Zormite Empire as the government on the island again. Basicly it's the document which is an ultimatum to the Drows of the island to surrender to us and they wont be harmed.

What would happen if Kefkin handed the kingdom off to a non Drow? Say a Bellasarian was to become the leader, and Bel'la Olplyn was changed to Bellasaria?

Depends on whether or not he only did it to create a puppet government.

If by non-Drow you mean Zormite, and by Zormite you mean the council of elders (until the Emperor can arrive) then the war would end and a new age of enlightenment would arise as the barbarians were casted from the borders of the Holy Zormite Empire.

AHhh so you are trying to blacklist some people from an island that you were blacklisted.

I think that anyone who has the ZSOH, is considered a Zormite Elder, and I would think that they could return to the land before your Emperor.

And no - the Zormites have never operated in a fashion where you gain a rank if you hold an item. The Elders are well established and I can assure you that you are not one of them. The Bellaserians will make an appearance as the naval forces of Zormite, seeing how we have no need for boats.

You have trouble grasping. Bellasera is ALREADY a kingdom, albeit across the oceanic divide. A collaboration for peace between the Dustarian hopeful and the Pirate citizenry and Shipwrights after the meteor, Bellaseria is an independant nation, recognized as soverign by it's neighboring kingdoms, Malenth and the Holy Zormite Empire. While OOC they are on seperate servers, IC the New Lands (2k2) and Old Lands (2k1) HAVE ALWAYS BEEN MERELY CONTINENTS ON OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE POND.

It hasnt yet, but I have been thinking about assuming the responsibility.

So your saying 2001 and 2002 are to remain seperate? Zurkiba seems to think they are the same, and should be intertwined.

To make sense of it all, some storyline has to exist to connect Graal2001 and Graal Kingdoms. But Bellasera is a kingdom that exists only on the "other side," on Graal2001. It does not and will not exist on Graal Kingdoms, short of any sort of official envoys (e.g. Gryffon). An attempt to steal the idea and debase the product of our hard work for Graal2001 will cause inconceivable things to happen to you. I'm thinking life as a potion. Everyone loves potions.

About bridging the server gap between the old and new worlds? Isn't that somewhat problematic? I don't think you can equate leadership in the old world with a right to claim leadership in the new world. Say, a leader from the old world upgrading to gold and then coming in as a level 1 claiming a throne on GK. Not to mention, in order for a perfect fluidity between the two land aggregations everyone in the old world should have access to the new world (which, again, they wouldn't unless they upgrade). Is the server still active elsewhere? Unfortunately I'm not up to date on what's going on anywhere other than GK. Any enlightenment or links to threads or histories od the old world would be much appreciated and much needed not only by myself but any who plan to RP on GK given the attempts to consolidate storylines.

The kingdoms are completely different. The only constant is the Zormite Empire (in which the Zormite colony will be led by a Viceroy as the Emperor resides on 2k1)

That's a rough map of the world before the meteor hit. The northern kingdoms are the real kingdoms, the south were colonies. A series of events made most of the kingdoms move south and reestablish their governments. (By the way, the Northern landmass is 2k1, Southern is 2k2, and the Eastern areas are just background areas for various characters in 2k2, Astri, and an event.

This is the reason why the Zormite was abandoned. No one cared enough to pass it on. Akira herself didnt even want anything to do with it anymore. The lack of info (canon) forces people to try and tie things together the best they can.

But wait.... It looks like this is a private party a bunch of studs has crashed, and now the olbies are mad because all their women are going home with us.

As far as the treaty... no forest leaders were present while Bel'la Olplyn was there.. making it totally invalid signature.

We're not just coming onto 2K2 and claiming leadership. We're vanquishing the Drow from Zormite island. It's not like we came to a Zormite kingdom and just said "Hand over the throne" or anything like that.
