So I got restored last night. I was happy and I was dancing around, prancing around, just being all super happy. I come on this morning and afternoon and I'm still happy with all my equip back. I go to a dungeon and level for a little bit and prance all around. I go to work and come on and WAMBAMTHANKYOUMAM all my stuff which was restored just POOF gone. I go wtf.


So basically the staff restored me, then reverted it back? Uhhh yeah it really is as dumb as it sounds. Please can someone enlighten me on what happened? I've begged for months to get my stuff back and the fact that you give it back and then take it seems like you're just messing with me which is totally f'd up.

Don't steal lord kills and such and bad stuff won't happen. Karma :p

You didn't actually 'get restored.' It was a bug reverting your account back to a previous state. When the bug was identified, your account was put back to its normal status.

Where did your items go?

So you're telling me by chance my account was reverted to the exact time I wanted it to be? I had all the items I had before they were taken from me. You're saying its just some random bug? Happened to me on Era once, though the circumstances weren't exactly the same. It is possible that it could happen. Your problem is you'll accuse anyone for anything. You seem so negative about how this game is run. Why not leave? You don't have the items you want and you claim all the staff are incompetent. Now you're accusing someone of teasing you by adding your old items then removing them again? Pure genious man. :\

It is. A bug in the mudaccount system comes into play if someone copies an mudaccount but does not change the 'name' field - if the copied-to account is used and it tries to save the newer version, it saves to and overwrites the copied-from account instead. An ex-administrator did indeed copy your account to their own in 2004, and when they recently logged on your account was overwritten. When this bug was identified, both accounts were restored to how they should have been. I had a more detailed post but it had to validate that I was not using a proxy so I lost it all. Grr.

I need that bug to give me my Mistletoe ammy back.

Graal's a business. Corporately-owned MMORPG. The least the corporation can do is pay back his inconvenience (as most corporately-owned MMOGs do if there is a problem on their end).

Jagen or Lance take a pick. Jagen told me they'd be restored however and then he quit/left. You can ask him if you don't believe me there.

I already said what happened I don't need to help jackasses who want to pick every post of mine apart. My items were taken because I was being nerfed. This was when my bamboo lost like 3 damage and +1 dex because of course people on the server cried that it was too strong. I know it sounds sketchy as hell but its the God's honest truth. Do you really think I'd ***** and moan for 6 months straight about a lie? Don't even answer that Andrew because you're just trolling now and being annoying.
