I've been wanting to do some graphics, but i honestly don't know where to start. If some of you could tell me some programs to use or perhaps a small tutorial of how to do it. (i looked at the existing ones, but apparently they don't work.. )

Two small peices of advice that will help you go a long way;
Start small.
Study others.

Some programs I personally recommend;
Graphics Gale - Best program for pixel art imo. Great pallette choices and has layers.
Open Canvas - Great sketch paint program if you have a tablet. It's built for pressure pens. It's also very light and is simple to use.

You're not going to learn how to do graphics GFX immediately, which will probably be enough for you to quit after a week.

If you're good at drawing, etc, irl then you will probably be good with graphics.

ive done graphix before with other things, just havent tried it with a game.
