CHMOD not allowed of graal.net
 

our forum host stopped hosting us, so i wanted to move it to our graal.net space. to install the forum i need to CHMOD the config.php file, but the server doesnt allow that! Didn't they know that almost all PHP scripts require CHMOD permissions?

I'm sure they'd love to give you CHMOD plus more...for $9.99 a year!

Yes, trying to find a compatible script would be alot easier than asking Stefan to fix it.

Actually, you don't need to chmod anything. Your scripts have all rights to your files already.

edit: sorry guys the fault is mine. i messed up by not retaining the directory structure. sorry for the mess.

seems like im getting constantly bombarded with problems doing this.

i need my MySQL password. it should be the same as the graalonline account password that i used to log into vip.graal.net. but its not. this is preventing me from installing the forum.


im assuming that option was never implemented. :\

yeah but why would i want to do that? people quit, they come and go. id rather host it on the official server. that way i know i wont have to move it or loose it someday when they decide to stop hosting it.

does anyone check the [email protected] emails?

I suggest you past your ideas to MagicalTux. I talked to him about 2 weeks ago on Graal Kingdoms and he stated that he checks that email.

He wont anymore, he no longer works for Graal Online.

well thats stinks. im probably the first person to actually need the PHPmyAdmin login page anyway, but I still cant login. stefan if you could personally reset my password back to the the same on as the Admin-Playerworld39 account, that be most helpful.
