Last-Memory Saving

I have an idea for RC..etc for playerworlds. A device that saves files automatically and if anything happens, all you have to say is /lastmemory <date>
It saves by date. Lets say all files were deleted on July 13th, 2005.
So i would say /lastmemory July 12th 2005, or just July12
and it replaces the current files, And also moves the files currently in use to the old files you wish to replace. EX: System Restore on XP systems.
Something sorta like that.

Like My Idea?

What's wrong with just making backup files? Also NPCs can be saved like that in a way by saying /savenpcs

It takes a long time to backup everything on a large PW, having to open each folder and download its contents one folder at a time.
Would be nice if there were an easier way.

Also, with /savenpcs...that saves to the main computer, so we have to wait for Stefan to upload backups to use that.

I like Fogles' idea, but as was said, it would take added space....

But still, having it would better...as Moonie said ...it would take a long time to get the files..either way..having this would result in PWA's time...etc...also taking up space on YOUR computer.

:D
