im posting this for my friend since he can't post it:

When I open Graal, my screen goes black for a second, then when it comes back, my screen colors are 8bit.But when I change them back to 32, Graal doesn't show jack.Like it's JUST loading up, but never loads up.

Maybe he needs to update his graphics card drivers.

kenyonandelliot 07-11-2005 07:42 PM

He did but nothing changed.

Benm00t 07-11-2005 08:11 PM

Maybe his graphics card is old and has very poor support?

kenyonandelliot 07-12-2005 09:34 AM

He doesn't know if he has poor support

smurfmidgetninja 07-12-2005 10:13 PM

Well see what graphics card he has...that could tell us if thats the problem....

and tell him that Kazaa sucks and he should get rid of it.

Benm00t 07-12-2005 10:52 PM

Might wanna have him scan for viruses too, while he's in a fixing mood.

Intel 82845G Graphics Controller

Thats what he has.

P.S. He already knows that kazaa sucks

Okay, first:
If he has onboard, that is a problem.
Onboard graphics uses your RAM from your pc to show your graphics, and let's say he has 128-200 ram + running XP, he will get that problem.

Fix this:
I'd get a cheap gfx card to at least use instead of the onboard OR
get more ram, 500 stick where i live would cost about 50-60 dollors, but i am certain you can find some deals at a local electronic store.

If that isn't the problem, his gfx options might be wrong, viruses, like i read on this post do cause problems of that nature, so scan for viruses..
Good luck!
