Event Zone

There is a bit of a dispute that's happening (again) on Shaded Legend and that's about either losing rate or losing gralat during events. Some people would rather lose gralat than spar rate, and some vice versa.

I was thinking that maybe a new zone to go along "normal" and spar zones, could be an "event zone". In this zone you will lose nothing, and in the case of ratings, gain nothing as well.

There are other things that effect fairness of events, such as sword power and max fullhearts. The "event zone" could change the health and sword powers to that which is defined in server option flags. Of course when they leave the levels set as event zones, they have their normal stats returned.

[Edit]You could also make it so that pressing R doesn't show ratings, because i'm evil and use it to cheat in events :-([/Edit]

Let me know what you guys think. Any expansion on the idea would be good too.

How is knowing other people's rate with R cheating?

You can find people hiding under bushes. The R key feature can be disabled with the enablefeatures command, though :)

You can see the ratings of people hiding under bushes. Hiding under bushes is a valid tactic in some events and being able to see the rate above it kinda spoils that.

Excellent idea Ben, should be added for sure.

I personally hate classic Graal events like this, but I can see the frustration players might face.

Any official (i.e, Stefan based) support. I could really use this as it would save alot of trouble, and i'm sure it'll be useful to many other servers.
