For some reason, when i start RC and log on to a server,it doesn't print any text into the chat box at all, not even when i or someone else types anything. It was working fine till i reformated today, so i dont know what the problem is. All my other programs are working fine.

RADEON Xtasy 9200 SE - GFX
Windows XP SP2 - OS
Pentium III 1GHz - Processor
256 MB - RAM

Delete controlconfig in the folder that your RC is in.

Reinstalling RC is overkill. This occurs when the logging file is set to a directory that doesn't exist. Simply changing it to a valid directory fixes the problem.

I'd expect him to try the solutions suggested in order, and even if it was the other way around I'd expect him to delete one thing over totally re-install it. It's just another option, if for whatever reason the first thing does not work, which it should.

Just like math programs have an order of operations
1:Look at options
2:Ask for tech support
--
3:If the tech support dont work: reinstall

Check the Logger in your RC Chat
If you log your RC chat wrong it wont show the RC Text in ur RC.
