History Modifications
 

I think that history should be saved using the current nickname the player is using. Currently, it does this, BUT, it updates to the players nickname each time he/she changes it. This means that if someone messaged me with the name "Apple" and later I try to check the history and the persons name is now "Brownie", then the history will say:

Brownie (DayOfWeek Month Day Time Year):



Which can be annoying when trying to catch, for example, staff saying things they shouldn't. I think it would be nice if history is saved according to what the players nickname was at the time of the message. So, if "Apple" messaged me and later changed his/her name to "Brownie", and I wanted to check the history from when I spoke with the person under the name "Apple", then it would say:

Apple (DayOfWeek Month Day Time Year):



And, if I spoke to the person while he/she had the name "Brownie", then it would look something like this:

Brownie (DayOfWeek Month Day Time Year):
Apple (DayOfWeek Month Day Time Year):

It would be nice if history did not wipe out when you put someone on ignore. Sometimes, when a player is disrespectful and sends you blatant remarks, then you put them on ignore, but when you look for history to send it to a staff member, the history is gone. I don't think it wipes out from your history folder (correct me if I'm wrong), but it does wipe out from the usual
right click playername in playerlist ---> History

Rather then just

Nick


Then that would be useful also.

Why would you need to see the account in the text document?

I agree with this, and it also does wipe it from the history folder, making it so if you want to put someone on ignore, and need the history you need to save it first, or you will lose all of it.


History is save by account, why would it need to be saved by nick? Unless you are wanting it for offensive nick purposes.

The history shows under Nickname only. Would be nice if it showed it under Account : Nick.
