Suggestion: Camera System
I think that cameras should be installed in each base, so players can watch the match from the dropship.
Suggestion: Currently, some dropships have that very nice camera image in them. It's on one of the walls. It currently projects part of a level in one of the maps, but if a player would go to the same spot, it wouldn't show them. I think that each dropship should have like two camera screens (one on each side of the dropship), where the map is projected via that neat screen and it shows different parts of the map. This would mean that it would shift from one camera to the other every X amount of minutes. The cameras SHOULD show exactly what's going on in the level it's projecting at the time that it's being projected. When viewing the screen, and a player enters the cameras viewing range, then the nickname of the person should be automatically displayed so viewers can know who they are looking at. Maybe even chat can display also, depends I guess. Would be nice to sit back and watch some matches when you're tired of playing all day long, or when you just feel like taking some pointers on how some of the better players on Zone play. You could learn a thing or two. :) |
Wow thats basicly imposible inless stefan adds a recording program in graal4 and then adds a script to show streaming video...

my idea:if u touch the camera u will be on the arctic gmap on a position like x=-30 y=-30 and then the camera will give u a focus on the bases or whatever...and when u press a u will be back in the dropship ._. |

It would be possible to watch what a single player is doing, I remember some playerworld having that for spying people or so (without displaying the chat). It is done by a serverside npc that is copying the animation and direction the player is looking all few moments. It could also be possible to mirror more than one player. Projectiles would be possible too but could be a bigger problem. So it sounds interesting but would require some work. May be we make it possible to buy special vehicles to watch battles? They are flying higher than the spy bots and cannot be shot.

Yeah, but they would have to be invisible to the players in the map and they cannot be destroyed. Something like satellites. |
