Gmaps and 3D terrain.

Hello, I am looking for some information concerning gmaps, and the terrain generator, basically I want to know how I can setup a small gmap offline for a level or two so I can then test a terrain tileset. I guess what I want are some text files that talk about gmaps, how to set them up and any scripts I need to put them into effect.

There should be a text file in the c://graalfolder//levelgenerator// folder that explains it. Thats what I used to learn.

Ah, thank you, that text file is very helpfull.

Please, if any of you should find any other text files relating to or about gmaps, and the terrain generator post them here.

I understand it, I just simply want as much information on it as I can have/find, there may be other things I am unaware of concerning the terrain gen and gmaps.

Did Stefan ever add the ability to adjust the strength of the coastal waters' light effects?

I talked to him about that once...

Yes it is, I also have some ideas of my own, perhaps a scripting feature that will allow you to raise and lower the z number value that determines where the water level starts, thus if you wanted you could actually have a tide script, allowing you to create the illusion of an animated tide rising and falling, and perhaps with a weather/day system you could set the script up to make the tide to be higher when its raining, and lower when its sunny out.

I also think it would be wise to add in a feature allowing you to actually edit the number value of the z heights of the terrain, when working on a gmap level. I've already figured out how to do this, but Its outside of graal. I open the level in notepad, and I can see the values for the z heights in the level, and then I just edit the number value. But I think that it would be nice if I could just do it directly in graal. This way it would be easyer to make certain parts flat, and other parts bumpy, directly in graal.
