Scrolls
 

So I had several level 107 scrolls made for my use, spent a pretty penny on them...

Finally, after becoming literate....I ate a few. Turns out, I got 0 exp. I was told by some nearby players to reconnect and restart Graal, then try again.

I did, rinse and repeat, and still no exp.

What's the deal? Are these bugged? Or is it my account?

I didn't know it was possible to make scrolls?

What level mental are you Curt?
I think you need to be above a certain level to obtain exp from scrolls.

Ah yes? I actually just became literate, as I said, moments before eating the lvl 107's.

That's probably why :(
