Dark Side: Beamer
The Dark Side on the "Zone Wars" map has a new weapon: the beam which is quite powerful, but also reduces your own hp (similar to the imperator in Star Wars Episode 3). This will make the Dark Side more powerful in close combat. The speed of the mechs will be reduced slightly. Also the beam might be restricted to high-level people (>=10000 exp). If you have ideas or complains then please let me know.

i hate the mechs, when does the light side get a vehicle that can shoot! and more hp
and the beam hits me when im not in its blue gfx and it lags the hell out of me! One beam and i take a step every 5 seconds |
It would be interesting if someone could help for the gfx, quite small spaceships, a little bit bigger than the hover bikes but not much bigger.

they should not freeze u if u were hit by them...i like it that they freeze u when u use them, but pls not when they hit u x-x i think they should be for >=20000 exp players...because they all use it that suxx |
You people stop complaining, beams are very easy to dodge and they freeze the person firing it so you have time to kill him with a sabre.

when u are on the light side and u want to "kill" their base, u cant really do that because there are about 7 people using the beamer... |
Personally, I think the beamer should be (>=90000). It takes skill to use this "power", and getting 10000 and even 20000 exp is very easy.
|
But then I couldn't use it :(
|
Well, you'd have something to train for :).

90k exp? I couldn't use it, and neither could those whose gold time ran out :(. I just recently started playing Zone again, and just hit 80k.

i think since the dark side gets the beamer the light side should get the "force". it would just be a wave that took up like 3 energy(the drak side loses 3 hp, so that's where i got the losin part from) and the wave wouldn't go any further than the dark sides beam thing. The "force" would do like 15-20 damage and paralyze the people who get hit for like 2.00 sec. the "force" should spread out around the character(the front side) maybe it could also move things a short distance? (like in episode2 where yoda was moving around the material that was being thrown by the evil guy(at the end)

90,000 is way too much. And 7 beamers? Np, camp and let their HP drown while you're using dual D18's or whatever they're called.

I think of something between 10k and 30k for the beam, it shouldn't be too hard to get it, 1000 kills or so should be enough, since you can only use it on one map anyway.
Weapons that are in planning are the graviation/moving of objects and players with the mouse, then the sniper, and we have several graphics for guns so we can use those to make some classes more interesting. |

We want droids. Bounty droids, scouting droids, lean mean killing machine droids. Very expensive. |
Maybe a possible force to even out the beam? You throw the lightsaber and it comes back to you.

Yes, this is the "force" :) |
lol the force should be on both sides, but do this
dark side = stronger but takes longer to use light side = weaker but much faster to use |

maybe dark side could have these(to the left).......and they all just go after the Light sides base......and maybe light side should be given all weapons....this way it evens out the light side, cause the dark side is WAY to powerful.....
(its a droid btw)left and the good guys could have these(to the right).....and they would just go around fixing things(like mechs, and bikes) and if it were to fix a mech, the Mech would no longer be able to be used by the Dark Side, but the light side would be able to use that mech..... (it's like R2D2)right |
if you take it from me the only time Beam weapon is effective is when in groups, because they are so easy to kill
*When attacking a dude with beam strafe from an angle away from the guy and when he attacks SPRINT towards him and attack, there they are dead. i used this tactic on Touya and is very effective |
