War with Zormite

Yesterday CP went to war with Zormite, due to the actions of a Zormite leader, Chancellor Etien DeBaglio. He scammed leet gear from Counselor Jalexia of CP, who trusted him as a friend. He did not return the gear, despite being given ample time and encouragement to do so. Instead, he chose to ridicule and put down Jalexia and other CP members who tried to negotiate reasonably for the return of her goods. Lastly, Zormite leadership did not take the situation seriously, so Etien maintained his rank, without even a temporary demotion.

The esteemed leaders of Dustari and Samurai have also chosen to help CP in this war, since Etien has apparently gone out of his way to antagonize them as well. It's a testament to how bad things have gotten in Zormite when CP, Samurai and Dustari are all willing to ally against them in war. We have even received offers to help fight Zormite from respected members of the remote kingdom of Forest. To all of the allies pursuing justice on Zormite, I have one thing to say... Good Hunting ;)

War update

Just as military actions were ramping up - a little sinking, destroying and killing (in character, no repeated PKing) - we now have news that Etien was banned. I would have preferred that the war play out naturally and without interference ((let us play and have fun)), but I suppose justice has been served in some measure.

So here's where we are at today: Etien is banned, Graynt is in exile (at least two weeks), and remaining high ranking officials of Zormite have sued for peace and offered gifts as terms of surrender. I will meet with the leaders of Dustari and Samurai today, and we will come to an agreement as to whether the war is over.

Governor Alan Steele

No, that's his other account.

Draenin 06-15-2005 10:38 PM

Hum. My bad then. He's still out there, though.

Raziel 06-15-2005 11:34 PM

His other account is a trial account.

Yeah I'm sure if Sweden scams a 1337 shield from the PM of the UK we'd be at war ::rolls eyes::

Why the hell, in RP terms, would two chancellors be standing around to cause one to scam the other? Would they not have guards and such with them? etc..

Idiot. That's something completely different.

AlaricoMontario 06-16-2005 11:05 PM

I personally hope, when the leaders of Samurai, Dustari, and Crescent Pirates meet to discuss the terms of surrender, they will in turn ask the opinions of the four Elvenfolk of Avanik, who fought alongside all three kingdoms in Rederil, Zormite Castle, Kalen, so on and so forth?

VulcanP2P 06-17-2005 01:07 AM

Did the King of Forest support the action though? From what I know he never asked for an official or unofficial alliance with Crescent Pirates.

juice188 06-17-2005 02:36 AM

you heard, could just be rumors

There isn't a King.

AlaricoMontario 06-17-2005 03:49 AM

Did the King have to? Regardless, there were more elves on ZOrmite then there were Dustari.

Those four elves should be able to pick a representattive to preside. Heck, we have more right than the Dustari.

The quantity of your members there does not matter Drk supported us in our attack against Zormite so Dustari would have more of a choice on the future of Zormite than your leader.

Brad 06-17-2005 04:28 AM

as the prince of samurai i will make my words heard

i will destroy any kingdom by myself.

juice188 06-17-2005 06:37 PM

Brad i would doubt it, not saying you suck or anything but i dont think anyone is capable of destroying an entire kingdom by himself without the help of anyone else

No. There was nobody ranked high enough to say yes or no to fighting along side Crescent Pirates, which is why as soon as I got on I asked those from Forest leave the battle.

VulcanP2P 06-19-2005 03:41 AM

Etien has been tried and executed by the Crescent Pirates and their allies. :)

juice188 06-19-2005 04:05 AM

the War is over but before it was ended Etien was executed on top of Execution Hill

VulcanP2P 06-19-2005 04:19 AM

That was a ditch not a hill...o.o

juice188 06-19-2005 04:52 AM

doesnt matter the pirates called it Exe. Hill when they told me where it was

VulcanP2P 06-19-2005 04:53 AM

Well seeing as I was the one who made it I think I could tell you it was a ditch and be confident I am right x.x

AlaricoMontario 06-19-2005 05:18 AM

Yeah... sure, that's why the new government CLEARLY shows the account name Debaglio as retaining a position of power, under a puppet government of Governor Alan Steele and his cronies.

Contrary to belief, people actually DO conduct their own investigations into these matters. ALthough I admire the elven sounding name change ETien was given. only mi stake is his account name, and profile reading Name: Etien DeBaglio

Someone needs glasses.

Kaimetsu 06-19-2005 09:49 AM

Owow, an execution! Of course, it doesn't really carry as much significance since you can respawn within like three seconds of the event.

Draenin 06-19-2005 09:51 AM

Yeah, I was saying the same. All in all it was pretty cool, but when you stop to think about it you realize that we could've probably done better.

This just shows your not fit to play Val or GK (Well for the most part)

No, not really - it just shows that I'm not an idiot. You can't call it 'roleplaying' if your character's actions are completely at odds with the world in which he lives.
