ok, there are 2 swords here, and i just want to know what you guys think...i'm not sure if i want them to be in zones...one is just a re-color of the tainted grace from GK

One is a tainted grace recolor and the other looks sort of like the diamond force.

I don't see why we need any more sword-like weapons for Zone. The muramasa and the sabres are enough I'd think for a futuristic battle type server and all.

Is it not illegal to make a recolor of another servers graphics and post it on your server without permission? I do believe so.

But you can use any official Graal server graphics on your servers correct? Like Graal Classic and GK? Or am I wrong? As long as he isnt saying OMG I made this original then it really shouldnt be a problem.

No, who told you that? You need permission from the creater of the certain GFX in order to make a recolor of it and upload it on your server. The only things that every server can use are the global graphics, which everyone is allowed to use. The rest has to be custom made by yourself, or if it's a recolor of something already made, then you need permission from that person.

And where can these global graphics be found at since they arent downloaded on the setup.exe anymore?

Global graphics are automatically set on servers. Any/all graphics that you don't have that are displayed on a server are automatically downloaded to your GFX folder when you enter the level on that server with the GFX.

So, how are people suppose to know what is global and what isn't?

head0-1000 something I believe are all global heads. I'm not sure if there are any global shields besides shield1 shield2 and shield3. And bodies, well, body#-body# are all global bodies. I'm not sure if there are any global swords besides sword1 sword2 and sword3.

what about hats, and there are other misc graphics that used to be global like lanterns, candles, rocks, blocks, etc....

I believe all hat# - hat# are global.

As for the misc, well, most misc items are recolors/customs so I wouldn't know.

something to think about because people have no clue what they are allowed to use and what they aren't allowed to use, as they dont know what are global graphics....

I always thought when you downloaded graal you already had some graphics downloaded? If not, then I guess that's rather annoying. I do know that you get them after getting on one or two servers, since it downloads automatically.

Hrmm, maybe some seperate folders that start with global could be made?

Something like

globalswords
globalshields
globalbodies
globalwebgifs

or so?

Something like that would be great, because now when you go on any server it downloads the graphics all in the same folder...like all heads go in the heads folder, and so on (I believe)
When you download graal, there is next to nothing in it as far as graphics except heads, swords, shields, and bodies...but I am pretty sure that anything from servers is just added to those folders and all mixed in x.x
