disc gun, and a new pistol (will be done soon)
 

ok like the title says, here's a disc gun and there will be a new gun that is supposed to be like the apps, but a lil' better. (the GFx were made by me, but they were DangerBoy's Ideas)

stats for disc launcher:

Type: riffle
Hands: 1
Ammo: disc's (it's in the pic, the box, should go in shop)
Freezing: 0.65 secs
Power: 11 hp
Range: medium
Speed: 13 tiles/sec
Variance: 25 degrees
Comments: none

the box(ammo you buy) should cost like 80-100 dollars (you get 10 disc's per box)
max ammo for Disc Launcher is 1000
the other ammo is what it would look like when shot(alos in pic, bottom left)

goes in commando class

the gun is rapid fire (like a plasma, but not like chaingun)

let me no what you think. (if you like it, if stats should be change, etc.)

It is uncannily similar to Starsiege Tribes' disc launcher, both in looks, design, and execution. Originally, the design for the disc launcher in Starsiege Tribes was that discs would be fired at about one every 1-2 seconds, but later mods were introduced (and became the accepted primary design) that increased the discs' firing speed (and travelling speed) to rapid-fire, long-distance shots, similar to that of the plasma gun.

o, well i got GFx from a friend (DangerBoy) he did it in 3-d in class and he sent it to me for it to be GFx'd for Zone.....and i've never played that game....

and how r they similar? they ain't the same color XD and what else would a disk launcher look like? all disk launchers look alike, and i don't want them to be super fast, maybe just like 2 space/sec. faster than apps, this way you can hopefully duel weild them :) but that's the only reason why.

Your image is darker, yes, but they're still really, really similar. The disc is held exactly the same way, in the exact same spot. The disc could launch from inside the gun, rather than having to be mounted on top.
I still stand by my opinion that this disc gun featured in this thread is a blatant ripoff of Starsiege Tribes' disc launcher.

w/e i've never played that game, and i don't think dangerboy(the friend who sent me the GFx to do the gun) has either..

thats old tribes its not in vengence and it wasnt in two so that would have to be one or never released or something

hmmmmm MasterNuke, maybe it could be in defender and sapper class. And Magadal i do this that way when stefan see's this we don't have to wait a longer time for him to check(he's barley ever on, he's real busy) and he always asks what the maker of the GFx thinks the stats should be, and then he works on them from there

The disc gun should go to the light infantry class.

now i just need stefan to see if he likes it, and if he does it'll hopefully be scripted, and if he doesn't then it won't be.. :( so Staff i need you opinion thanks^^

once agian no post in about 4 days,.....do you guys think this should be in game? STEFAN YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT THESE
