New Wacom and Ocean "Sprites"
I just got home from work, so I decided I would try out my Wacom, which FINALLY arrived. I started doodling in Corel Painter Essentials 2.0 and this is the product of my doodles. It was just a doodle, but it started to look like a ocean spirit, or "sprite".
What do you guys think? Remember, it's my first Wacom piece (: http://www.zerohour.ca/hosted/art/ocean_sprite.JPG |
What the hell is a WACOM?

Anyway, about the ocean sprite. I sort of see the figure there, but it's a cool design nonetheless. Can't wait to see what you can cook up with that thing once you get accustomed to it. By the way, which model did you get? I just went the cheapest route and got the Graphire3. >_< |

So how is the Graphire3? I take it that it's the best one on the market for the price right?
I'll most likely get this one shortly. |
It's awesome, if you have the money you should go for the 6x8 or whatever the dimensions are :)

Tablets are what they use to make aqua teen hunger force ;p

Has anyone used both and is there a big difference from the 4x5 and 6x8? I can't see it really being that big of a difference. |

Generally, the tablet is mapped to the screen, so moving an inch on the smaller tablet, will move further than moving an inch on the larger tablet. Gives you slightly more control. I've got the 4x6 myself, and it's not too bad. It was $100. |
Plenty of money, but worth it, if you like to make things on your computer. Kinda hard to make a good looking flash movie any other way
