They added a new Lord, and new items... what do you want, Marti Gras?

Butz 03-27-2005 07:27 PM

The new items are nice, but I think the white star wizard hat could use some work. It would be much better if it looked like the other wizard hats and y'know, covered the back of the head instead of making us look bald.

Splke 03-28-2005 11:03 AM

It would be cool if everything was useless.

Stefan's ISP was giving him a lot of problems all this week, so he didnt have much time for anything. He didnt even have time to add a few easter things for Zone, so I caught him on GK and had him get on to add a few easter things for Zone. Now, I'm not sure if thats why things may be similar to last years, but I'm just assuming thats why.

I think I would be the only person on Graal that could do anything Mardi Gras related accurately. It's a little late for it now (Mardi Gras was in February).

we can still have something like mardi gras, it is really just a party, we can invint our own mega graal party.we can call it Mardi Graas. two A's are supposed to be there.

GryffonDurime 03-29-2005 05:06 AM

Anyone who DOES NOT live in an area that celebrates Mardi Gras, please don't assume you know what it is because you watched an episode of COPS.

Carnival is really much more than beads and floats

Splke 03-29-2005 06:58 AM

Cops. Lolz. <#

No such assumption was made on my part, nor any message conveyed to induce such beliefs.

However, I was saying that Easter was, potentially, fine. I hope you didn't expect GK to redo the server just so you could be like "OMG WOW IT'S EASTER LOL"

Yeah what do you think easter is, a celebration of the Lord's resurrection or something??

Oh wait...

For obvious reasons Graal Kingdoms is not going to celebrate Easter as though they were devote Catholics, and the like. So are you saying you wanted us to have a little mini-Jesus which would be resurrected, or something? Because that's just sick, and borderline sacrilegious.

Oh, sorry, I was taking the internet seriously for a moment.

Carry on soldier.

Butz 03-29-2005 07:45 PM

Now all we need is the Graalian Dyngus Day event. =P

Yea, totally, because we all know the internet is a joke.

Crono 03-29-2005 09:18 PM

Despite the effort put into this and as much as we all appreciate what the GK staff have done, the items you trade the eggs in for are almost useless x_x;

I value the eggs themselves more than the items you trade them in for. Hell the eggs are like rememberence items for me.

Yea, I feel that way too. But the staff do put a bit of effort into these events - and it's for the players, not themselfs.

csod123 03-30-2005 02:28 AM

we should celebrate Ramadan

I didn't mean that in a elitist manner, I meant it seriously. How many people do you know who want to fast for 24 hours? Especially on GK, that could mean a huge loss of liquid assets.

There's no muslims on Graal anymore since Jin left.

GoZelda 03-30-2005 07:54 PM

Err, to tell the truth, I don't think it would hurt to bring some of the old items like Blood Sabre and the coloured wizard hats back. It would also limited the huge variety of useless items there is now.

Are you going to tell me that the wizard hat, and blood saber aren't useless...?

Yeah they are, but they're still pretty rare and people like them. Instead of releasing new items and making the stats better every time (Icey Ring), rereleasing items would preserve some sort of balance. A new item every now and then doesn't harm, but all these new items every half year could just as well not have been made because rereleasing other items would have the same effect.
