TrueSpar
I was thinking that it could be a good idea if you allowed clients to connect directly to each other for sparring purposes (if they can not spar properly through Graal because of lag). It could, admittedly, be a gateway for hacking, but then you could just choose not to spar that sort of person or have a firewall on.

I don't see how such a thing would be possible without opening the client up for people to use such a thing to their advantage to make free private servers, and such.
Elaborate on this a bit! |

Well, the client would still send validation packets to the server, but it would open an additional connection to the other client and connect to reduce lag (or try, anyway). |

I think it would be an interesting idea, as long as most of the down sides could be prevented. |
you can already do this with older versions of graal i think

The bigger problem is that there's no external, objective authority. |
They will never let you connect to another person like that because Graal wants to make money.

Anyway, I was under the impression that Graal already did this to some extent. |

However, both of them still must connect to the server, so a direct connection would of course lower the ping time. The issue of moderation is a large one though. People would view it as an open chance to use trainers, and cheat in various other ways. |
Yeah, if you connected directly to another person, how would you or Graal Online verify any information sent or recieved by either party?

I thought at first the title was "TrueSpear" it sounded cool for some reason.

I believe the real threat here lies in making a direct connection to another client, and somehow finding a way to execute malicious code on their computer though the connection? |
