Thanks guys, I wasn't expecting a birthday thread :P It's nice to know some cared.
I'm moving today for a few months, and sadly I will not have internet access. I will start college (university for you British out there) in August, and I've spoken to Spark and Stefan, and I will probably try to devote some time to emails then and doing things via email or so. Thanks for the wonderful years you guys have given me, and it's meant a lot to me. And now, sadly, it's time to dismantle my computer.

matt8891 03-06-2005 06:39 PM

Strangely enough, there happens to be a weak wireless signal where I'm staying. My mom's laptop (what I'm on) can connect, but I'm trying to get my linux box to tap into it, or perhaps even this encrypted one depending if, er, the guy who owns it decides to tell me his password? ;) Otherwise it's $50 for install and $35 a month for a cable modem, and if I'm only here a couple of months, I don't want to have to shell out the cash. Perhaps I'll see if I can build a better antenna (pringles cans are fascinating) that will connect with a higher signal.
