Scripting School

I was reading the forums like usual, when I came across a fascinating thread. Angel and Kaimetsu had an idea to startup a scripting school in which they would teach members of the community how to script. Reading further into the thread, I learned that the project was abandonded at a later date. I don't know about anyone else but I think it would be a good idea to bring this project back.

Angel doesnt play anymore, and I'm not sure if Kai would still want to do this.

I'm aware that angel isn't around anymore and no disrespect but that isn't a bad thing. There are a lot of good scripters out there and i'm glad kaimetsu is one of them.

That would help a ton for GS2.

The scripting school in GRWAL: The Comic was awesome.

Presentation would be a key factor here. I know of a place that teaches game programming over the web, dynamically, every saturday at 9EST. Or, there's what Cisco does, and have the information static on a webpage.

Maybe.

This thread is for discussing a particular institution. Plus it is old and dead, and I already advised against reviving such threads.

Make a new thread in the scripting forum if you cannot find a tutorial.

It always seems like a good idea, and nobody ever does it.

I've seen the global version, and several server versions. None of them ever make it to the second "class".
