Making your own server
 

I heard there is a way to make your own server on graal but i dont know how to, do you have to be a Admin or what. If there is a way to do it, please tell me how to and how do i become a Admin(I know i have to be really good at the game and whatever and help and do stuff to become an Admin but what else do i have to do). Please help me out with this, i am thinking about make one my self!

Oh goodness. No you do not have to be really good, you just need to have 65 for a half a year or 100 for a full year.

I dont recommend you waste your money starting one yet. Get better at development and get some experience first. I can bet you'd be wasting your time and money.

In my opinion, and keep in mind this is only my opinion you should atleast have average to advanced knowledge and ability to do gfx, levels, and scripting before you start up a playerworld. More often then not you cannot rely on people to work for you, they either quit or have to be fired.

Don't lie to him. Yes, you should buy a server. And I am not just saying this to get unixmad more money. ;-). You don't need knowledge, just go download some npc's like everyone else does.

Well i suggest you make a OW first with gmap maker or make it by hand. GMAP is kind of easier and better in some ways. Then finish atleast 25%-50% offline with some other staff Make a MSN Meeting or do a NET Meeting so you can chat,share desktop,share files, ect. Then start scripting your core files such as if your gona have a custom walk system, attack system,or just some things that will make it fun. Then when thats all done goto www.graal.net and apply for a playerworld and pay 60$ - 1/2 Year or 100$ - Full Year (Kind of a better deal) then just upload all that work you did so youll start with a high playercount cause of the buzz atracting players who bring friends and ect. Then when you have 3 quests i think and a decent o/w and scripts apply for Hosted Tab then when your all done or 90% ask for Classic Tab Inspection.

how do you upload once you have purchased the playerworld? i need exact instructions :\

Open the folder where the file is on your hard drive

Open RemoteControl.exe, then open the File Browser

Drag the file from the folder on your HD to RC and into the File Browser

You have to go to graal.net and purchase a server, and you don't have to be admin because you'll be the owner.
