Forum Problem

Whenever I try to reply to a thread, nine times out of ten it goes through that "Please wait, validating" white screen and when it's done with that, it will tell me that the thread I specified is invalid. It's really starting to bother me.

Maybe try clearing your cookie(s)?

Makes no difference.

I occasionally have this problem on my Pocket PC, but I blame that on the sheer uselessness of Pocket Internet Explorer. Not actually sure if that is the problem, though.

I use Internet Explorer and I'm running on Windows XP, and I have no problems. I'm assuming its your browser, or like Spark said, your ISP.

*Forgot I had that IP tool there*
AOL, hmm, are you using that AOL browser? If so I believe that is your problem.

Gambet 02-20-2005 07:47 PM

The AOL Browser has always given problems when it comes to the forums and such. I suggest you download internet explorer via www.download.com or any search engine you wish to use to locate the file. If you are using the Internet Explorer browser, then maybe look for an updated version of it, or reinstall it?

I stopped using IE because I had nothing but problems with it...I use Mozilla Firefox now, and I have no problems

Benm00t 02-20-2005 08:48 PM

Yup, dump Internet Explorer and go Firefox.

Neoreno 02-20-2005 09:04 PM

...I've used Firefox for ages. I don't even use the AOL program to connect, I still get those problems.
