On the subject of NPCs.
 

I think I may know why quest escort NPCs get lost. When I was wandering around with an escort NPC for the quests, I was sailing from CP to Main. When I hit the barrier and got transported below deck, I got disconnected. (Or a module error, one of the two.) When I reconnected, the escort NPC was gone, and the NPC asking for it kept saying that the escort NPC was in southeast main. When I went there, there was nothing. Nothing in the ship, nothing in southeast main. Just gone.

So... I believe that unexpected disconnections cause escort NPCs to get stuck. When a friend of mine put some items on the tables, then suddenly logged off, the items stayed there and wouldn't go away for a while. You couldn't get them off the table. This seems to be a trend with NPCs and items, and can become very problematic. For the love of God, someone fix this please! All there needs to be is a simple script that respawns the escort NPC to some other place when someone suddenly disconnects. The quest boards get stuck for weeks, therefore putting a handicap on the amount of quests that can be done for all users on GK. If someone could fix this, I'd be really grateful.

I agree, the point of the quests was to give us more game content and half the time you can't do them because you have to wait on it resting.

I wish someone would please get onto this and fix it real quick. This and the house door problem. I had to break the sad news to a person in Samurai that he probably wouldn't be able to run the shop that he's been wanting to.
