I'm still too damn stupid.
You may recall that I was trying to learn the alchemy recipe for "dust of vision", but you probably don't. Anyways, I was. And the scroll was "way beyond my comprehension". Since then, I've managed to train my mental level from level 12 to level 13. However, it seems that this is only tantamount to training my mental level from "level Dan Quayle" to "level George Bush", and the scroll is still "quite a bit beyond my comprehension".
So yeah, to get to level 14, I need 600,000 more mental exp. Are there recipes that are good for getting exp (don't tell me dust of vision for obvious reasons)? It would be good if it used Water of Emerald, since I accumulated a lot of those getting from level 12 to 13. |
Uhh... -thinks-
Ask people for hundreds of thousands of books, or party + mental. I think there are plenty of skills that should "ready" to a mental exp class, while somebody runs around Immenses killing everything, no? |
Can't you get mental skill by using that woodsman skill on items or something like that ?

Have you tried int+ rings?
I'm not sure that would help, i stopped playing GK a long time ago. |
Int+ rings would help. I used to have 2 int+2 rings. Also if you have talisman of unified mind. If I remember correctly, its stats are (int+3)(Attuned:self, mind) and also lets you use sorcery.
Also, learning high level sorcery spells gives you tons of mental exp. Like, tens of thousands. Destruction either gave me ~20k or ~60k I dont remember...probably 20. |
Obviously I tried Int+ rings, they don't change anything.
