Errr...test?

Unfortunatly, no staff member will respond to my support request VIA Graal Help desk or e-mails. I've try'd getting in contact with some sort of web-forum admin in order to get my old account back "Knuckles".

I have the account for Graal, the only problem is that it's a different password for the forum. I was forced to access this old old account-name in order to post here.

Anyway, yes...It is me, Knuckles. If you don't remember me, fine. It's the same Knuckles that managed Frolic.

After over a year of hybernation, here is a a level I made because I was bored. Finding tiles was a huge pain. I don't really like the outcome of it...but hey. I don't feel changing it.

Yes i'm back. Not as active as I used to be...but I do come on every once in awhile. If only I could find my account password :(.

Oh and I couldn't find alot of tiles...so thats why there are tile errors.
And also don't complain about predenified house. I didn't feel like changing it.

syltburk 01-30-2005 03:11 PM

I remember you Knuckles since I worked for you :)..

The level is nice so far, but it looks like you didnt finish it with the tiling.

Darlene159 01-30-2005 05:09 PM

I like it all except the square paths, nice

Doahh_p2p 01-30-2005 05:43 PM

I really miss frolic =(

Knuckles 01-30-2005 06:33 PM

I was checking some of my old CD's...
I seem to have found everything... (ACCOUNTS/LEVELS/SCRIPTS).

for some screenshots

Its an ok level, doesnt look like it's finished. My path style is like yours :D!

LordMatt 01-30-2005 09:21 PM

wow a lot of activity going on in that level.

heh

<Edit by Moonie: Pic was removed, I suggest you watch yourself>

Methril 01-30-2005 09:39 PM

Looks good. What's with everyone and the path ? can't we ever have a straight sidewalk.

Eagle 01-30-2005 10:08 PM

Looks good, and welcome back Knuckles.

haunter 01-30-2005 11:02 PM

Gorgeous. I love it. A few tile errors of course. One I noticed was on the cliff's shadow. So look for that one, and just scan over it again for anything else. Priceless classic feel.

Oh... I do have one beef... I dislike how your chairs ride up on the cliffs like that, it looks weird, especially with the rounded benches at the bottom... Which are in an odd place to begin with.

Was the circle on the top of the tree for the end of the path, or the tree?

No, no, no, you forgot to add "I think it's horrible." and such. :P Really now, can't you maintain uniformity through your posts? :x

I think it looks great, but your road looks... square? :x

Don't listen to them about tile errors, they are picky, and minor tile errors are the worst thing to be picky about, I mean, it's all aestetics, as long as the level works the way it needs to and sets the proper envoronment, who cares if a few pixels don't line up perfectly. :)

Points to his "diagonal" sidewalk. ^^

Alot of the tile errors you pointed out would require a re-adjustment of almost the entire level just to make room for the transition tiles, he probably knows they are obvious errors but wants to maintain the shape and size of the level. :x

Amen! Do you guys think i'm blind?
I know they're there. I told you that up in my post.
Thanks for the time and effort in pointing them out though?

I said I didn't know where a few tiles were, and the other ones -- althought they bother me, I rather not edit the entire shape of it (especially considering theres detail around it) in order to fix a few pixels.

As for the sidewalk...It looks better straight then it would diagnal...That's my opinion -- and that's why it's straight. But I guess you all ARE entitled to have your own opinions.

zell12 01-31-2005 07:29 AM

Well, there is just a better way of making it; thats all we are saying.

Anyway, could you post the actual level for me?

 I guess...I was more a scripter towards the end of my reign.
Even as a fellow LAT, I was more satisfied with the overall look of the level then a few little tile errors here and there. When you're creative it's hard to NOT have a few tile errors. Creativity in a level is always a plus and IMO outweights the minor tile errors. But if they were tile errors that could be fixed easily I would mention it.

zell12 01-31-2005 07:42 PM

Well you get criticism by other peoples opinions Knuckles...

WanDaMan 01-31-2005 07:54 PM

Ok let me get this straight.. No hard feelings but comparing Knuckles to you would be comparing me to Scott in GFX..
I think your levels arent good at all, but everyone learns.. Knuckles is so much greater then you mate.

Yes, but when you simply state that "there is just a better way of making it; thats all we are saying", it sounds to me like a fact. >_<
