Here is advice for all playerworld owners that are looking for staff. you should make the whole server with just your self or a friend ( one does the scripting,one does the level making) then when the playerworld is finished you then hire lats that are EXPERIENCE to help make the levels you got done look nicer.

Haha. I'm supposed to be one of those friends, right? If I ever get my computer back (might be tomorrow, I've got my fingers crossed).

thats what me and slp do..
first of all we both are owners.. we both know eachother offline.. he lives right by me

I'm the npc scripter.. and he is the lat admin...
we made/are still making all the levels.. and then our lats will jsut touch them up... for us...
they shouldn't be incharge of doing other things..
because the things we want to make will require lat and nat work.. and that would be to much hassle for the lat people...
i have no nats.. lol.
i dont care though.. because then i make the npc's how i like them...

me and slp are good at nat and lat work.. but we just picked our jobs.. because i like to do more nat work and he just likes to do more lat work.. somehow it just worked out that way.. which im glade...

I think some other good ideas are this:

1. Don't give all staff FTP, they don't need it anyway (No not even all LAT, only one person in the LAT and the admins should get FTP.
2. Always discuss the hiring of people with all your staff, this can take a long while but will prevent the hiring of people someone doesn't like and will probably get rid of the bad applicants too.
3. Make some good tests which someone has to do if they want to join your staff (Make GP's fill in a form with a couple of questions what they would do in certain occasions, make LAT's send in a few of their levels etc.)

yeah, I'm starting a PW with Sean (account: xeon_delteria) but I haven't been able to get ahold of him for about a week.:mad: :mad: I'm good at levels, and I can script a bit. Not very good though. If anyone wants to script for me, please tell me!! I'm desperate!

Confining yourself to people you know personally means you can't get the best of the best out there. What if your friend is only an average scripter, for example?

I'll script for you, but I need some details to see if I'm interested in the PW. So PM me on the boards with some backround info and such, and I'll think about it.
