There a are few Dutch people in Kingdoms
and wow we Talk to each other in our own lanuage

but there are a few Words that Wont let us Talk in our own lanuage

The word
"kunt" mean Can in Dutch but if U say this in Kingdoms then this Swear Filter comes on and wont let u saying this

Why do you change your style of language on graal? Wouldn't it be easier if you sticked to one language?

I think it's because dutch is his native language....

It´s the same in german. The word "ick" with a "d" in front of it, stand for "fat".
But we cannot use it. But the dirtiest german words can be used.
I dont know why only bad english words are not allowed, but I think we can play this game also without using this synonyms.

Perhaps they could make the swear filter change a bit for each language? Like, if you switch to german, still have all of the bad english words blocked, except for the ones that are actual useful german words...? It's not the best solution, but it's something.

Yes, but then they would have to create a chart of all the bad words for each language. If they're going to continue using the swear filter I think this will have to be done.

More English players, therefore English words are mainly filtered out. Someone that speaks German could come up to me and insult my mother. I wouldn't understand. :frown:

soemtimes I want to make a "selling mass" and they I get this message dont try to swear the filter ...

There actually happens to be a difference between controlling obscenity and controlling stupidity, though one could make a fairly good argument that the two are intrinsically linked.

Just let people say what they want to say. It's recommended you should be 13 or older to play Graal, right? At 13 you are allowed to go see a PG-13 movie which can contain swear words. I'm sure everyone here knows all of them so why should they be forbidded on an online game?

SOrry this may seem a bit old now but, if you look at it this way. To sign up to graal kingdoms you need to have a gold account. Isnt the only way to sign up credit card or paypal?

Cant the swear filter be an option when you buy a Gold account? As you wouldnt need the terms and agreement because the person who signs up for there child (if thats the case) would have already read them. Thus deciding for the person who is going to play the game.

So wouldnt it be a better idea just to have the option when you pay for the game?

No. The swear filter's implementation is a per-server thing, not a global Graalonline thing. Each server has the power to decide (within reason) how it will deal with inappropriate chat. Some filter it to help make it easier, others simply punish those who can't string more than a few words together without an obscenity.

The sort of chat that should be filtered is chat that is not allowed on Graalonline. Providing an option to work around such a filter is ludicrous.

I think what he/she is trying to say is give each player the option to have a swear filter or not. I don't really care what people say so it doesn't really matter to me if someone curses. I would chose not to have a swear filter. So therefore I would see all of the cursing, but the 13 year old with the parents that choose to have the filter will still have the filtering. It's not a bad idea, but doesn't really matter to me, I speak english XD.

Fix "who---_-__-_---ordered" (without all the -'s and _'s). It's being recognized as "wh"_-_"or" with an e at the end.

(I added hyphens, underscores, and such because I dunno if the word's censored here too.)
