IP changer

An email-verifiable IP changer... PLEASE. x_x

At least this time Spark can change my IP for me, but I can't even play Graal now. :\

Perfect idea.

This is a must have, especially with the new IP rules. That way dialup users can once again use RC...

And people liek me.. with a DSL connection.. and the IP changes like... once every 2 days.. or so... >_<

I agree and support, this is on a to-do-at-one-point list for Graal.
It would work the same way as the e-mail changer, using the transaction ID# to confirm I guess. And a playerworld order number or so!

Ehh. For global staff? I don't like the idea. If someone got ahold of their transaction ID, there would be trouble. I think it's better if a human is overseeing these changes.

I agree with lance on this, because if someone used a trojan or something to obtain the global's graal password, that person would probably use the same means to obtain their transaction ID (or email password) aswell.

Hmm, only half-clear in my post. I meant that it was planned for a change of the Admin-Playerworld IPs only.

Doesn't this also mean you can avoide the global IP ban and local IP ban?

Please Stefan i got a router and DSL and my ip changes and server staffs are getting mad because they have to set ips for rcs and stuff so please make it ip changer users be able to use rcs again.

Thank you for reading the thread![/sarcasm]

But really, here is what you need to do:

Figure out what your IP range is. To do this, disconnect/reconnect several times such that your IP changes. Make a list of the IPs that you have when you connect. Then, figure out which parts of it change, and intelligently create an IP address range so that the managers of the server you work on can set it.
