Evil_Lord_Sparda 01-16-2005 10:56 PM

No. Yay for newbies!

davidpsy 01-16-2005 10:58 PM

I don’t think this is necessary.

Qwert616 01-16-2005 11:02 PM

It really isn't all that important, man.

Googi 01-16-2005 11:03 PM

No. What the hell is this elitism?

Graal oldbies > Graal P2P Forum oldbies

Chris 01-16-2005 11:07 PM

Sure. As long as you transfer my 1,000 + posts from my other account to this one. ^^

ZanderX 01-16-2005 11:09 PM

No.

On the flipside, I'm fond of the idea of making some sort of really low requirements (50 for avatar, 100 for custom title), just to give people some minor incentive to post. D:

Way to not answer his question, dude.

And also, way to classify me as a newbie.

Sorry to bring it to a tie (6/6)

I actually am an oldbie, some people remember me, but I wasn't that much of an action person back then.

I like my custom title, and I don't see your reasoning for changing it back to 1000 posts.. That will bring a flood of spam and stuff back to the forum so people can use special things.

Sorry.

Nappa 01-17-2005 12:36 AM

Bring back ?

Where have you been ?

I agree wholeheartedly. It's silly to have rewards for spamming hundreds of times. It's not silly to have SMALL post requirements before getting access to avatars and titles. Especially since each avatar takes time to download.

I'd prefer if they had it set so that you needed a certain amount of posts to be able to use a signature also, as that's usually the more annoying part.

Darlene159 01-17-2005 01:11 AM

No.

[EDIT]
Ah, for some reason I understood that to be a forbearing finalization. I realize now, that it's likely your opinion. It's interesting how perception can screw things around.
[/EDIT]

Besides, the 1000 posts is ridiculous - incentive to spam. But perhaps, I can see, the 50-100 posts for avatar, etc. being good.

Brad 01-17-2005 01:29 AM

yes

i like having ppl cooler than other ppl by having an avatar and personal sig

You're already in the top 5 post count, do you need something else? =P

Zurkiba 01-17-2005 01:30 AM

I worked for my title and avatar!

Unpredlctable 01-17-2005 01:38 AM

I say nay, my good sir.
I'm a ol.... semi-long-time-player. Though I haven't been a member of the forums specifically for the entirity of my Graalian-dom and I don't post too much, I enjoy having my custom title and not-avatar. :[
I do agree with the 50/100 post count idea.
And maybe... a special reward-type thing for members with a 10,000 post count! Like a... a... umm... well, how about a free T-Shirt. You know, the ones on the Graal Online Shop... yes...

Where is my t-shirt.

Why don't you buy me one?

I support this.

Nappa 01-17-2005 02:53 AM

I just found the perfect way to have fun events on 2k1, and spread propaganda for the man! Thank you kamuii..

I shall hold events on 2k1, and send prizes to people like the graal cups and shirts and crap.

Maybe stefan will even unban me on 2k2..

SAY YES TO PROPAGANDA!

I don't think they make shirts for fat people like you and me, but seeing as how you will need 2, they might make them because of increasing demands... :) Wow, that gives me reason to get 10,000 posts... I'd better start!!

Kamuii is not fat. I would know, I've met him in that real life thing before.

(I know you're being sarcastic/spammy)

I would, but I am poor-ish, even though I spent $27.00 USD on other Graal things which I never use...

keke... I just remembered something funny about Graal shirts and random accessories. Dehitay had a picture of himself in one of those Graal Online shirts. It was halarious.

Splke 01-17-2005 03:58 AM

Down with newbies, up with me. Rise to the top Argo!!

Wait, what's this thread about?

Eagle 01-17-2005 04:19 AM

I've been playing graal for awhile, and I don't class myself as a newbie. I just never posted much until last year on my "190" account. But a 50-100 post could thing for an avatar wouldn't be a bad idea.

Projectshifter 01-17-2005 04:46 AM

I don't think that this is necessary. Perhaps if it were set at 250 and 500 then yeah, but not 500 and a 1000, it's a big number, and will just cause people to spam. I'd rather not have to post a lot to have "Global Scripting Team" set ;)

middo 01-17-2005 07:43 AM

NO.
Not all of us post in every other topic.

Well...
I read only the main forum... and post (sometimes).
I don't use the custom title thing and I don't post a lot, so I vote blank.

HoudiniMan 01-17-2005 12:34 PM

Voted yes it should be brought back, but on the condition the number of required posts is made 50/100 for avatar/title respectively

Shaun 01-17-2005 05:38 PM

I vote no. Graal's client is suppossed to be the game, not the information forums that serve it.

Sparkplug 01-17-2005 10:07 PM

Yes please, I don't have 1000 posts on this account but it is a nice thing to look forward too when you get there.

I'm more for 50 for custom title and 100 for avatar.
Avatars are prettier. ^^

middo 01-17-2005 11:02 PM

What the hell is the point!?
I payed money for this damn account, and I want what I have right now.

Unpredlctable 01-17-2005 11:57 PM

1,000 posts are for nerds.
