I'm pretty sure people have either forgotten about me or thought I was dead. Truth is that lately I've been distracted with other things and I haven't really touched Graal all that much. I'd really like to get my playerworld finished (so that its not looming over my head), but it sucks doing it alone :(

What I have available for people to play on ATM is pretty much what things will look like in the end as far as levels and a few graphics are concerned. Biggest obstacles right now are player character sprites and a few system NPC scripts (really its the menu system and components). I could also use a hand on level development. The map is a less-ambitious project than the 2048 level map (don't worry, its not being thrown away ;)). This location is known as Antes Island and it does take place in same world as the main map does. I have a small story I'm working on (slowly).

So, to recap, I need the following:

• Experienced Level Designers that know how to work with terrain maps
• Experienced Graphic Designers that are good with character sprites and animation
• Experienced Scripters that are good at building system/menu scripts

Wow, I was thinking of asking you today how Dragon Kodan was doing. Previously, I was going to try to visit Dragon Kodan, but I knew that wasn't it's real name.

Heh, yeah...its been around for a while. I'm not really looking for recognition so much as I'm just trying to get this part of it completed. If I can get this side project released, it will make things much easier since all that'll really be left to do is fill out the main map. I really need access to my RC back so I can start/try working on the menu script (I don't intend to build this script offline aside from the graphics aspects of it).

The menu, right now is pretty basic. The attached image is the status screen (there are screens for items, equipping weapons, magic, etc.)

I've been experimenting with terrain for some time now, so mabey I could be of some assistance.

1 question : Are you useing classes for some the level components?

DK has been going for a while...I remember Master Cola (now Zeon or whatever) trying to get me a staff job as scripter and DK getting permission to use the 3d maps.

I might be interested...I must see more first...Bring back Master Cola ^^

Hey Yoshi! DK Used to be so AWESOME! I would hang out there all the time and you would come on and be like "I added a new flower tile" or something, and then it would show up and it would be this beautiful flower tile. And I remember one time some dude gave me boots, and I ran around the world and I went into a house and you showed up and you were like, Hacker! And I was like no! But you were like, Ok then, how did you get into this house in the middle of the OW? Good times, good times.. :-D

I'm good at 2D and Terrain levels, and music... If you're interested in just what I've said there and nothing else (except maybe 2D graphics) then give me a hollar. I pretty much try to do whatever I can.

Hey G_Yoshi, glad to hear this project is still going on.

Hit up #gscript sometime and we can play Tribes like in the good days ;]

Currently, there are no class scripts for any NPC level objects. If there were any, it would probably be used for the trees.

Sorry, Tribes and my Radeon do not get along well, nor do any other openGL games for that matter.

What else would you like to see? All I really have to show at the moment are the levels and maybe a few graphics. I've attached a character sprite I had done a while ago. I'm not real good with animation so I don't have any animations for it. I do have a couple other directions done, but that's about it. And as far as Master Cola is concerned, I've not seen him lately.

One other thing I forgot to mention! I'll also take people that are good/creative with interior levels like caves, castles, dungeons, and homes. I have a fairly complete set of house objects that work just about anywhere (outside and inside). And I have tilesets complete for all 4 settings!

That character looks like a dork! I assume you will also make masculine characters? And maybe some females? ;)
