Playerworld

Pretty soon I'll be putting up a playerworld and I'll be paying for an elite team to make it. I'll pay for the development of the server, it can be any team of people but I will check for what they are capable of and don't bother getting involved if you suck. I'm looking for a very good and talented team of people to make my playerworld who deserve the money if you are interested post here, im me at WhiteBoyJonXI or e-mail me at [email protected].

Snakeandy7 01-10-2005 09:07 PM

How much would you pay me for a overworld, and how big would you want it?

Mitch 01-10-2005 09:35 PM

I can't simply say I'll pay so much for an overworld. I pay for the development time and quality of the server, you must also have a team that can work on all areas not just levels. I say this because I know various people would make crappy server just for the money. Considering I'm paying for this project is must be top quality and very good graphics.

First of all I cannot think of paying for an overworld to be done, without a tileset. This tileset must be graphically designed very well so that the server will come out nicely.

Nitkizi 01-10-2005 09:50 PM

I think Kaimetsu may be interested in a paying job :P

Gman4pwnu 01-10-2005 09:52 PM

so why are you paying for a team to make a server for you?

Also, I have a pretty cool idea for a server, never been done before, I talked to stefan about it, he seems to like the idea. I have a team as well..

Mitch 01-10-2005 10:02 PM

Yes, that would be nice if Kaimetsu were to take part. Then I know I would be getting my moneys worth he is a very talented person and I hold a lot of respect for him.

Gman, if you like to discuss this you can im me at WhiteBoyJonXI. I have noticed you have been working on quite a few modern/futuristic servers lately, does this idea of yours have to do with a server like that? I'll add your screen name to my list so you will be able to contact me when you see fit, thank you.

Gambet 01-10-2005 10:02 PM

Sounds good, I hope your server comes out great =D.

Slash-P2P 01-10-2005 10:06 PM

Good luck getting talent. I might be interested...

I can bet the paying is to compensate for lack of skill and wanting a high level staff position on a good server?

Mitch 01-10-2005 10:06 PM

Thank you Gambet, Slash, I appreciate your support. Well if you are let me know I am usually around at all hours.

I'm sorry for not answering the question earlier about why I am doing this, I thought it might be an interesting project and experience.

TESTRETIS 01-10-2005 10:10 PM

This really should be in the playerworlds forum, good luck either way :)

Mitch 01-10-2005 10:12 PM

Yes, it probably should. I am counting on a moderator to move to considering how picky they usually are about it..

petro1212 01-10-2005 10:31 PM

*looks happy*
You wouldn't need a pixelation junky that is adddicted to making everything that you can make on graal :O!?!? Or would you >_<

Paying for people to make your playerworld....

It's a very interesting idea, I'm not sure how much money you are planning to pay these people, but I would sure be interested in knowing.

Gman4pwnu 01-10-2005 11:22 PM

looks like he is going to buy the playerworld, stefan just accepted the playerworld, its waiting on payment, lol just talked to stefan for about an hour or 2 :o he seems to really like the idea of my server.

Inspiration 01-11-2005 12:03 AM

I will make levels at a set price per level, and the level quality will match or beat any and every server currently online. Just give me the tileset and work out a price with me ;p

This is the second thread in a row where you have offered to work for a playerworld o.o I'm afraid to view any more
:P

And Moonie, technically shouldn't this thread be in the Staff Hiring's forums, and not this one? >_<

Plus, he's a damn Yankee fan.

Nitkizi 01-12-2005 05:19 AM

I'd like to believe that no one is stupid enough to hire an entire team promising money and run away without paying a dime, unless he'd enjoy being tar and feathered by the entire Graal community. A 'pay you a percentage' now and 'the rest when its done' type of deal would go best.

Mitch 01-12-2005 04:41 PM

First it wouldn't be possible to just not pay them unless I wanted something like a train done and not have the rest of the server. I plan on paying the scripter per script, etc. Also, baseball is not relevant to these forums and I don't suppose someone on the red sox bandwagon is any better then a yankee fan, in most people's eyes.

ETD, this thread explains how I am hiring. The other explains how I am offering to work for a playerworld, simply put.

Maybe he is going to pay you, but the question still remains is the payment going to be legit.Or another act of Credit fraud? However no one that is willing to pay you US Currency shouldnt and cannot be trusted.Especially someone that was involved in this mischief before.

Mykel 01-18-2005 05:00 PM

Who cares if he fires you directly afterwards? If you get your money, that's all that matter.

Who said anything about firing afterwards? I merely suggested that when he pays you will the money be HIS or a act of FRAUD?

abara 01-30-2005 05:52 AM

That doesn't really sound like a logical idea. I mean, if you pay people to make the playerworld your just wasting money when you can make the playerworld yourself. And it really won't be any of your work x.x

Leasure-13 01-30-2005 08:12 AM

He wants a 1337 server to take alot of credit for.. I would also pay someone to put me a server together.. but i would rather be a part of it, and help =)
