How to fix your IP range (Side effect of new system)
Before you contact us about being locked out of your RC, due to the new IP System added today that doesn’t allow a *.*.*.* IP range, please read the following:
(1) If you are a playerworld renter: You can fix your own IP range! If you have been locked out, only because of this new IP system, but your IP range is still the same then follow these instructions… 1: Go here http://www.graalonline.com/adminpanel/ 2: Login with your Admin-Playerworld account 3: Click ‘ADCP Administration Tools’ 4: Click ‘Update My Account Information’ 5: Update your IP range in this box to a #.#.*.* IP range! 6: Click ‘Update My Information’ 7: Log back on your RC! (2) If you are a staff member on a server: Contact and manager/admin on your playerworld. We can not add, or change IP ranges for local staff on playerworlds (unless you are the owner), for security reasons. So please wait for your manager/admin to update your range for you. |
Yes, funny how this locked me out on Debug ;) Stefan never bothered to set one after I asked. Oh well, it's a really good idea :-D

Say my ip is 23.324.21.32
That means i would set it as 23.324.*.*? |

It wont work for me. It still says my IP is "insecure".
I also inserted "*.*.*.*" I thought Playerworld accounts could have that. |
How to make sure you have a constant IP range:
Try to upgrade to a cable modem or a better connection ^^ |

Not everyone is fortunate enough to have access to a hi-speed connection nor can everyone afford it. My case is that I can't get it because of where I live and no I'm not moving so that I can. |

For example:
217.81.102.1 217.78.97.21 61.29.35.19 61.82.100.0 Your IP Range: 217.81.*.*,217.78.*.*,61.29.*.*,61.82.*.* |
I had difficulty getting into RC at first, because every website that gave me my IP address kept saying something completely different. Finally one of them worked.

If they are using a website to find their IP address, i doubt they'll know if they're running behind a router or whatever... |
People actually have to think these days. You cannot restrict someone to use an ip that changes almost every day.
