People abusing bugs, to scam
 

Today I was scammed by Krystal_goodness. She used a table to glitch. She put the inferno on table, logged off, and in 10 minuites she came back and it was till on table. it was stuck and it want part of the trade. It looked like I was trading for it, but it wasnt actually used on the trade. I hope you will all pay attention about this. I promiss, this will happen again, and Krystal will hopefully be banned and I will recieve my items back. I have talked to stefan, and waiting for a reply. Anyone else who believes I should recieve my stuff back, Post your name and account name here. Thanks

No you should not be compensated i was scammed like this 3 times this week, and i have not yet been compensated for any of them. sorry buddy

They ABUSED to do this. there is a difference between using a BUG and scamming. If you read places, USING BUGS is illegal.

you should get yer items back.. a bug was used!

2. Yes.. you should get your stuff back. Abusing glitches is a horable way to even TRY to scam! People who scam like that are accualy breaking the rules and SHOULD be banned.

A bug was used when i was scammed too, it was the same exact scam....

Alright, He gave my back my rings. He will hopefully be banned for abusing this glitch. I dont want it happening to other people.

Well, if he gave you back all your stuff, I doubt he can be banned. However, if he did not, it is almost certain that he will be banned!

I suggest you contact GK staff via PM or something.

Ok this week , spaZ scammed my Ice bracers +12 and 325 diamonds using this bug. It happened in Cove town and i clicked them nd thought they were real, I figured out he had used this bug to steal from others after he stole my items.

I cannot restore, but I will give you some tips on how to tell if it's real:

1.) Ask the trader to cancel their trade
2.) Quickly get on the table with skis and attempt to remove the items yourself, the worst that will happen is you'll make a fool of yourself.

Back when you could, and a scam like this was being abuse, people would cast alchemy on the table items, if they were real you were safe... if they were fake you had hit gold (gold nuggets, that is)

I sent Stefan a few PM's to try and talk to him about this, but he hasn't answered me yet it has been a few days. Also oasa got scammed trading for a inferno that was mine and i was told stefan took that away... I would like it back

asked to trade my hammer for them, then when i got there I always make sure they are real and i picked up 1 of the items then he picked up rest and signed
on his other account. And is now telling people I scammed him.

I am not lieing, it was on the trade table and i did right click the items, they were there. I had no clue he had glitched it and i didn't even know what that was at this point. And now i'm banned for sup[osedly abusing this bug when I have never scammed anyone for the 50 hours i have played using a table bug. Yet these people who all DID abuse it, get away with it.

ElvenDarkness has striked again...he used *Elite Paladin to scamm one of my friends of his KJ shield the same way and same account he used to try and scamm me.
This has got to stop.

this bug excist alrdy so long staff just wont fix it or theycant fix it..

I'm all for re-enabling spells in trade, or at least alchemy.
Oh, and also disabling laming aura inside, if spells stay disabled.

relating to this thread: Sadly, I have seen people try to scam using this bug. No idea if there's a decent fix for it (putting items back into the person's account when the table closes, if they're online or not), but I can suggest a way that would work: simply destroy the items instead. If they try to scam using it, tough luck.

Another that would work would be to put the items in a sort of lost and found for a few days, where the items would drop in a pile and only be able to be picked up by the account that left them on the table. This would fix the problem of scamming, as well as people accidently leaving their items on a table when they log off/get disconnected.

How can anyone be banned solely upon the word of another player?
Now, if you scammed Stefan you should be banned(for stupidity alone), but Stefan is Stefan and not another player of equal status. People would start to make all sorts of claims and it would only be a larger mess.

Mebay a 2nd Floor in the Trade Rooms weer the lost items will be Stored.. and they they got liek 48 hours totake them otherwise they will just lay there

In the "mall" area items that are purchased are placed on the floor and only the person that bought the item can pick it up. The money for the item is also placed on the floor for the seller to get at that moment or at a later time.
