Password Saving
 

Hi. I have trouble with Graal and RemoteControl saving my password. I got so tired of going into my secret files to find my password, that I actually made a shortcut to it on the desktop because everytime I try to log on Graal or RC, I always have to put my password in. Is there any way to make it save?

Would memorising it not be prudent?

That aside, what OS are we talking about here?

You could encrypt it with a secret key that you enter each time you need to access the password file!

The OS is Windows XP.... And 'encrypting' sounds too hard and I'm afraid of crypts so I don't think I can do that...

why dont you memorize your password

now call me old fashoned .... but why dont you just write it down on piece of paper and tape it to the front of your pc ?

Have you checked the registry entries usually used to store passwords?

is there anyway to add a password to a certian folder? :o

setting your own passwords would obly make things worse, as most people use common phrases or words or names

I remember back in the day I would email someone and say "hey, change my password to oinkpigmaster" and they would do it. That account was stolen. Weee! That's why. :)

exactly my point where as with randomly generated password you havent got that problem, the only problems you have is from people who are downloading warez or trainers or just being damn stupid with their passwords

f1 settings (options?), save password next time you log on.

back in the day RC accounts were (say if the server was Delpheria) Delpheria_NAT1 or Admin or LAT depending on your position and you choose your own password, but a lot of pw's got hacked when hackers got smart lol, haven't tried it but they might still be active accounts if you search for old pws in accounts list , like , Sanstrata% i remeber last i check it came up with some, shouldn't these be deleted?

Ok i counted 23 but none of them have an admin level greater then 0
