Scritping Help

Can someone PM me a Graal Scripting site to script levels?
Thanks,
Arnack

Kaimetsu 12-12-2004 07:21 PM

Wha?

Loriel 12-12-2004 07:39 PM

No.
Thanks,
Loriel

Script Levels? ;o

Slash-P2P 12-12-2004 08:09 PM

You mean script NPCs. Levels are made by tiles, and NPCs use GScript.

Arnack 12-12-2004 08:23 PM

Oh, yes than, becuase when I make my events, I need to script for something to happen.

calum 12-12-2004 08:29 PM

So, whats this site you are looking for?

Arnack 12-12-2004 08:30 PM

I npc scripting site I guess.

Loriel 12-12-2004 08:50 PM

Why do you not learn scripting on your own?

Lance 12-12-2004 11:19 PM

Allow me to hold your hand for your first step on the journey towards becoming a scripter: Spell 'scripting' correctly.
Thanks,
Lance

Keep up the great work! :whatever:
Ever heard of a typo?

Slash-P2P 12-13-2004 01:06 AM

This should help you for learning how to script.

Arnack 12-13-2004 01:55 AM

Thanks Slash :-)

This isn't a chat room - you have as much time as you need to compose a post. If you choose not to review it, then you face the consequences of your actions (which, in this case, means your post will be criticized). When you ask for help on the direction towards scripting, and do not take the time to ensure that you have even properly spelled that which you are interested in, and when you make a fundamental mistake in naming this (scripting levels)...well, suffice it to say that I am allowed to make a harmless post that pokes fun at this in a style mimicking the original post.

Here's a good site. (credit goes to Loriel for the link)

Thanks,
Brandon

I still don't think with a position of authority you should have that kind of attitude.

I should not encourage others to spell a subject they are interested in properly...?

Sorry to inetrupt, but it was called typo, not THAT hard to understand, but I have been looking at that script guide Slash gave me, and I think I mastered it,and harder ones? Likesome script that when you say /done you would warp to somewhere? I am learning Gscript to make events.

Like Kaimetsu said, playerchats, setlevel2, and (possibly) triggeraction. If you plan this to go online, look into some documentation about //#CLIENTSIDE. You might also want to know strequals and what #c is.

Arnack 12-14-2004 12:26 AM

Is there a guide link in-site or off-site?

So you are asking for a tutorial that explains exactly what you want to do, when it would be fairly easy to simply piece it together with the information gained here and in Cyrin's tutorial? I'm thinking you probably didn't "master" it after all.

Arnack 12-14-2004 12:40 AM

I am not taht good in scripting ><

Hence the suggestion that you should learn.

Slash-P2P 12-14-2004 01:51 AM

Use the search function on the forums to find tutorials. Those should help you learn.
