Ok, so how the **** do these people get 50 dias?! I mean seriously!! I go mine for hours and get maybe 2, and this guy is just sittin around all day on his rump and he has 50... What the **** is this ****!? Somethin illegal or somethin, cuz its ****in me off!

Yup... i got 8 within 3 minutes once :-D Only took me a week to get about the 64 odd diamonds needed to prep my weapon.

Why don't you try to buy some. I bought all of mine 220 diamonds ;)

Of course everybody will try to sell for 500 plats, it is up to you to make the price lower with deals.

I still think the best place for dias is west HH...
when prepping my fid i spent a whole day there and found the 100 i needed...

Yeah, they are worth 500 plat now, but if you're lucky, some people still do for 300.

This is rediculous, but diamonds are one of the few items with a valid reason to be marked up rediculously. Why? You're paying someone for effort, I know I have better things to do that get diamonds, so if I was selling them, I would definately want it to be worth my time, and with the prices of things in shops now, and the addition of learned "recipe books" not everyone can just farm sapphires for cash anymore.

I know I personally have yet to recover since my house fell down from inactivity, and I haven't even gotten the recipe books for all the recipes I use to know and use. So a diamond going for 500 is a great thing by me, 500 will get me a recipe book. :P

I think the east HH gives a higher chance of diamonds. Not sure. Level 3 maps help alot.

Does having more luck really help finding dia? Because i have about 6 luck and when i go to east hh ((skels one)) i killed for like an hr and 0 or 1 dia usually but then someone else goes and gets 8 dia. X.x what is up with that.

get Rings with Wis+ Or other Stuff with +wis
if u want to learn Spells get Int+1 Items/rings.

The most diamonds I had was 756. I wanted to make it to 1000 but I had almost every diamond currently on the server, so noone else could sell them to me.

I had 670+, holded for tecumseh :P

I never did see a point in collecting worthless little diamonds. I collected things like rows (8 of them at one time when they were worth alot still). Unique items (golden warrior helmet, amadola shield, leaf shield of might) true the golden warrior wasnt unique, but it is now. Those things can allow you to manipulate the value of the item, like I did with the darkflame. You just overhype the item you have, make everyone think it is the best, and then sell it to the highest bidder. Far more effective than a solid value diamond that can be mined/dropped by creatures/dropped by you when you die without coins.

I've never had a really difficult time coming by diamonds. Just keeping them.

Diamonds can be used as a stable currency.
