First 10 Tasks--Help Please!!
 

Ok, normally I wouldn't ask questions on how to do something, but I've been playing the game for about 8 hours, and I'm still stuck at two tasks. Any help would be greatly apprectiated!!
1.) The Feed the Pet task: The only way my flute will play the tune is if I hold down just S. If I hold down S and D, only the up and left arrows play, so I only get half a tune. If I hold down just D, my character moves around. Any suggestions?
2.) The Raise the Ship task: I have no clue whatsoever on how to do this one!!
I've been in every house that I can, I've gone below decks on the ship, I've shot the cannons. I'm totally lost!

Hold S then hold D if this doesn't work perhaps you need to configure your controls in F1

"Raise the ship" is the last thing you have to do, just go to that last.

Thank you, I have tried that, too. I'll reconfigure my controls in F1 and see if that helps.
I've completed all tasks except Feed the Pet and Raise the Ship :)

Thank you, Zero Hour. Apparently my D and arrow keys did not work well together. My 1 and arrow keys did, though. Thanks again!!
