Map Making
 

I think that this topic should be here.. Anyhow, my question is, When i want to make a make for some levels, it wont work. When i made a map for 1 town with 10+ levels, it worked just fine. Now that I am wanting to make a map with less levels, or some other levels, it wont work. The map file is showing up, but it is all black. Anyone know why? :rolleyes:

Are you talking about the terraingenerator or regular maps?

That aside, I've had problems with the terrain generator when trying to make smaller maps (I guess I can assume that's what you mean). I think it's a type of bug, so this should probably be in the bug reports section NO NOT THE TECH FORUM, BAH.

I am just trying to make a regular map. Open all the levels that i want to show up on the map in the level editor, and then press "m" That all i have to do? It worked when i did one town, now it will not work. Like i said is shows up all black.

Do you use a gmap or a .txt map?

You need any of the levels on the map, and have the map loaded. I.E. have done a setmap image,textfile,x,y; which obviously requires that you have a text file made. The image doesn't matter, fyi. I don't think I've ever had any problems making small or large maps before, so I dunno.

See what i did fromt he first town is lited above. It worked jsut fine. All i need is the map image.. I can get the script make for it.. Like all the levels listed in the txt file. Do you understand what i am trying to ask????

No I did not. I kinda got tired of it, and ran out of ideas to why it was not working. x_x
