New: show your online status in your webprofile
 

Hello,
I'm introducing a new freature on the Graal Online website : now you can display on your member profile if you're online on Graal and on which playerworld !

Example : http://www.graalonline.com/members/v...ame=MagicalTux

(You should see I'm offline since I'm not connected a lot)

To enable this field on your profile, you need to login on the Graal Online website, then go to the members area and select "Update profile". You'll see an additionnal choice at the bottom of the page. Just select "Yes" and save, and now your online status is displayed in your profile !

(It will display "Offline" if you're offline, or the name of the playerworld where you're online. To protect your privacy, this option is disabled by default).

What happens if you're on more than 1 playerworld?

Only one of the playerworlds you're on is displayed...

I think it's the last you connected to (you can test & see...)

It was the first one I connected to that showed up.
IDEA: How about a list of those who got the online status set to yes?

So it does...

I was not sure, and anyway it can be easily tested...

I'll try to see if I have to display them all :p

dosent work for me =/ and i have been visited 0 playerworlds it says.... thats a lie!

A little off topic, but how do I add my photo to my profile...? I am also getting the same error Galdor is, that being that it says I have visitted 0 player worlds... even though I have been to many.

Another nice function, good job. But how come my Visited Playerworlds number stays doesn't change? It's always at 0. :redface:

Nice job Rick.. but I guess you're hitting the profile page each time you need the information, don't you ?

Would be better if you were querying a page only made for that (I can code a little thingy that will only query gserver instead of doing lots of request, like getting playerworlds infos)

I went to graal2001.com...Logged on,and clicked members area..Then i clicked Update Profile...Checked of yes i want to be seen if online wo whatever it says..It stills doesnt show on my sig..Help me??=(

If you want to add the little 'head' status in your signature, you have to do that manually:

Would be better if people only use the "is currently online" thing if they are actually playing from time to time :) The "is currently offline" gets annoying, may be it could display some random image instead

For some reason, when I try to log in, I don't log in. On the main site.

Pretty cool feature. Too bad there isn't a server called "a roll", or "a hunger strike".
