Well I was going to submit this for the unofficial challenge thing but I don't think I would even get close to anything good. I want constructive critisicm. I know it isnt very good I did the "leaves" with a spray paint brush, and the trunk isn't colored very well, but it's a first shot. Here it is, don't go blind:

ok scrap the top of the tree and start over straighten out buldges in the trunk and don't make the roots so large for such a tiny tree then add some highlights and it should look like this:

after that draw a few limbs and add on the leaves.

Thanks, how about shading how would I go about doing that

just copy what I did on the trunk. on the leaves as far as shading something like this should do. Its pretty old ( tree top I made for heartland years ago) but it shows you can shade decent leaves with a few colors.

Time to make a tree later.

My word of advice would be not to start on trees. Trees are some difficult fricken mamajamas to do.

I am completely redoing the tree (im looking at a picture this time) it still looks bad but its more fun to make. I made an iPod yesterday ill post it later
